- 1. File #1-24 Guiding DG - Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan
- Action Requested: Introduction of Project and Future Activities
- Description: Guiding DG is a combined planning effort with a Comprehensive Plan and a mobility component (the Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan), as well as sustainability and streetscapes components. Guiding DG will help direct future growth and development over the next 20 years. Staff and the Village's consultant will provide an update regarding the progress on the Pedestrian and Bicycle Plan. The project scope will be reviewed, summaries of some recent public engagement sessions will be covered, the project's Guiding Principles will be presented, and an outline of the Commission's role in the next steps will be discussed.
